The European Institute of Aviation and Business gGmbH (EIAB) in cooperation with the University for Technology and Business of the Saarland offers “Aviation Business – Piloting and Aviation Management” as a course of study.
Up to 60 university places per year are available for students who would like to complete an approved bachelor’s degree together with the Airline Transport Pilots License.

With this course of study, beside the airline transport pilot license (JAR-FCL ATPL), you will receive extensive knowledge for the aviation industry. The study contents are strongly related to the needs of airlines and are unique in this combination up to today. Study contents include areas like maintenance, flight operations and business elements as well as network planning and ground services.

Through a strong relationship with the participating partner airlines we guarantee constant coordination and adaptation of topics. Cargolux Airlines S.A. for example, beside other activities, is engaged with an endowed chair at this training.

During the application you have to expect start-up costs of approx. 1.200,-- Euro to pass the psychological assessment and the aeromedical examination. If you start the study, these costs are included in the total sum, which may be loaned by a bank.
